Manchester United are in competition with an unnamed pair of Chinese Super League clubs to secure the services of Anderson Talisca, report the Daily Mail.
The Brazilian is currently on loan at Besiktas from Benfica, but is expected to move permanently away from the Portuguese club in the current transfer window.
The 24-year-old is supposedly the subject of a three-way race, with two CSL clubs rivalling Manchester United for a deal to sign the attacking midfielder.

Scoring 27 goals in 55 appearances for the Turkish giants, Talisca endeared himself to the fans and started to cement a reputation that has generated a serious degree of interest from clubs commanding large amounts of money.
Manchester United have already added Fred in the transfer window, and are hoping to welcome the towering Brazilian to Old Trafford in the coming weeks.
Despite representing Brazil at age-group, Talisca has never been selected for the senior national team, and will not be travelling to Russia to play in the World Cup.
If United can ward off the threat of Chinese football, they will likely line Talisca up alongside other attacking options of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez.
