The Daily Star are reporting that Manchester United have failed in their pursuit of Spanish midfielder Isco from Real Madrid.
United were ready to bid over £160 million for the midfielder, who recently returned from international duty with Spain after being knocked out by Russia at the 2018 World Cup.
However, it is believed that Isco does not want to play under Jose Mourinho, blocking any potential switch to Old Trafford.

Don Balon reported that United had submitted a £160 million offer to Real Madrid to attempt to lure the midfielder to Manchester. United were interested in bringing Isco to England, and had enquired about his availability.
However, any move seems dead in the water. With Isco reportedly not interested in working with Jose Mourinho in Manchester.
Isco was brought to Madrid by Mourinho’s successor at the Bernabeu, Carlo Ancelotti, in 2013 and has gone on to make over 157 appearances for Real Madrid since.
