West Brom are closing in on a £5m deal to sign Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.
According to the Express and Star, West Brom are close to agreeing a fee of £5m to bring Johnstone to the Hawthorns on a permanent deal.
Johnstone spent last season on loan to Aston Villa, helping the club reach the play-off final – as they lost 1-0 to Fulham.
The English shot-stopper now looks set for a return to the Championship with West Brom.

Darren Moore is looking for Johnstone to replace Ben Foster, who is set to leave the club this summer.
Foster refused to attend a pre-season training camp last week and is the subject of interest from Premier League side Watford.
The 35-year-old had previously voiced his commitment to West Brom, despite relegation, but now appears keen to return to the top-flight.
United are expected to sign Stoke City goalkeeper Lee Grant to replace Johnstone.
