Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has returned to pre-season training a week early as he looks to revive his career, the Mirror reports.
Shaw has struggled for game time since Jose Mourinho was drafted in as manager two years ago and now the left-back has ended his summer holidays a week early in order to train alone.
Despite Mourinho describing Shaw as one of the world’s best left-backs back in January, the England star once again struggled for game time at United last season, falling behind Ashley Young in the pecking order.

The 22-year-old has now opted to fly out to Dubai a week before United are due to return to pre-season training as he enters the last 12 months of his contract at Old Trafford.
Shaw is joined in Dubai by Gary Walker, United’s head of strength and conditioning with the realisation that it’s make or break time for his United career.
