Manchester United are keen to sign Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele on a season-long loan and have reportedly submitted a bid for the Frenchman, according to a report on the Mirror.
Dembele had a disappointing first season at the Camp Nou following his big-money move from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
The young Frenchman only started 14 times across all competitions for the La Liga champions last season and is an option for United to sign on loan as Jose Mourinho looks to strengthen his squad to challenge for the Premier League next season.
The Catalan club are reportedly open to the idea of sending him out on loan to help with his confidence and development and United are ready to pounce, with fellow Premier League sides Arsenal and Liverpool said to be interested.
Mourinho is looking for a winger who can supply plenty of chances for Romelu Lukaku and Dembele would be a perfect fit on the right flank.
Whether United make an official move for Dembele is yet to be seen, but they are definitely interested in bringing him to Old Trafford.
