Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is preparing a last-ditch offer to land main target Willian and is considering offering Anthony Martial in return.
According to the Mirror, United are working hard on a swap offer to bring Willian to Old Trafford and manager Mourinho is willing to allow the unsettled French star to head to Stamford Bridge.
The Portuguese boss has made the Brazilian his number one target since the window opened and is desperate on beating Spanish giants Barcelona to securing Willian’s services.
Both Willian and Martial are open to the idea of leaving their current sides and are both valued at £75 million by their respective clubs.
United are also keen on adding to their defensive numbers, with Barcelona’s Yerry Mina and Leicester City’s Harry Maguire both on Mourinho’s wish-list.
With Mourinho growing concerned over the lack of big name signings during the current window, Old Trafford is set to be extremely busy during the final week of the window.
