Man United player ratings: Watford (A)

Man United walked out 2-1 victors at Vicarage Road after beating Watford 2-1 thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku and Chris Smalling.

The Red Devils held on to take all three points despite a late Andre Gray goal putting the hosts back in contention.

Two quickfire goals in the first half gave United the win. Lukaku got the first after 35 minutes, diverting Ashley Young’s cross into the net with his chest.

Chris Smalling then got onto the scoresheet after firing home a knockdown from Marouane Fellaini.
