Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has become a potential Arsenal transfer target at the end of the season.
According to The Daily Star, via The BBC, Arsenal are interested in signing Mata and will look to sign him if he becomes a free agent.
The report claims that Mata looks set to leave United at the end of the season, with the midfielder out of contract next summer.
Mata has almost made 200 appearances for United since his move to Old Trafford in 2013 from fellow Premier League side Chelsea.
The 30-year-old has scored 41 goals in 195 appearances for the club, after scoring 33 goals in 135 games for Chelsea.
United do not look set to offer Mata a new deal, which means he will become a free agent at the end of the current campaign. Arsenal would then be able to sign him on a free transfer.
