Paul Pogba has taken to social media to react to the sacking of United boss Jose Mourinho.
The Frenchman reportedly had a testing relationship with the former boss, with Pogba starting on the bench for the clash with Liverpool on Sunday.
However taking to social media just after the sacking of Mourinho, Pogba posted a picture of himself smirking with “caption this!” written below.
With Mourinho losing his job this morning, the timing of the post could give hints to Pogba’s feelings about the matter.
However, the post was quickly deleted from all of Pogba’s social media channels, suggesting it may have just been a poorly timed marketing campaign.
Pogba and Mourinho have had a testing relationship at Old Trafford, especially shown when the midfielder was dropped at the weekend.
The pair also had a confrontation back in September at training after United were dumped out the Carabao cup to Derby, with the two sharing an uncomfortable clash of words at the Carrington Training ground.
