Carlos Baleba at Manchester United
Manchester United recruited Carlos Baleba to bolster the midfield options available to Michael Carrick. Crucially, the club views the Cameroonian as a potential centrepiece for their long-term rebuild. Paul Scholes has publicly supported a midfield trio featuring Carlos Baleba, Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo. Currently, the 22-year-old works toward his competitive debut following an ankle injury.
