Joshua Zirkzee at Manchester United
Michael Carrick considers Joshua Zirkzee a key part of his plans at Manchester United. The forward remained at the club following the summer transfer window despite external speculation. Crucially, Carrick insists he has seen enough in training to believe more development is coming. The manager now challenges the attacker to demonstrate his full capability over the coming months.
Career Before Manchester United
Zirkzee began his professional journey in the Netherlands before moving abroad to develop his craft. He gained significant experience in different European leagues prior to arriving at Old Trafford. Indeed, his early career provided the foundation for his current role in the Premier League. Detailed information on his development is available via Wikipedia.
Career History Overview
Zirkzee impressed during the pre-season schedule. However, he has not featured in competitive action since the league campaign commenced. With the club opting against signing another forward, he may now occupy a central role. Michael Carrick prepares the squad for a long season ahead.
