Patrick Dorgu at Manchester United
Michael Carrick views Patrick Dorgu as a versatile asset for the squad. Although primarily a defender, the manager often deploys him in advanced attacking roles on the left flank. Carrick insists this tactical flexibility does not prevent the Denmark international from playing at left-back. Indeed, the boss believes Dorgu possesses the natural attributes to excel in various positions as he develops.
Career Before Manchester United
Dorgu gained valuable experience before his move to Old Trafford. He notably played off the right side for Denmark and scored a significant goal during the summer. Moreover, his limited involvement last season makes him feel like a fresh addition to the current group. The coaching staff now focuses on maximising his potential through consistent training sessions.
