There is a surprise name in the Manchester United squad to face West Ham in their FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford tomorrow.
Young defender RoShaun Williams has been selected by Louis van Gaal for his first appearance in the 18-man squad after playing with the under-21s against their Liverpool counterparts on Friday night.
Adnan Janzuaj also makes a return to the squad after also playing in the 1-1 draw against the Reds. The Belgian was unfortunately cup-tied for the senior squad’s dismal performance against Liverpool in the Europa League at Anfield on Thursday night.
The other returnee is Jesse Lingard, who was suspended for the marquee clash against Liverpool on Thursday night and the winger will most likely be starting on the right tomorrow afternoon.
Juan Mata is the only major absentee from the United squad, as he is serving a domestic suspension after being sent off at West Brom last weekend.
