The international break is finally over and Manchester United will host Everton to close out Gameweek 32. As each game passes the three points become increasingly vital to the club’s top four hopes.
The gritty win against our arch rivals Manchester City bolstered United’s confidence and this will hopefully be carried into a tough game against Everton, with Romelu Lukaku proving to be a substantial force in attack with 18 goals already this season.
Manchester United’s representatives all put in a great shift for their countries during this international break and no one has seemed to have lost their spark since the integral win against City.
However, it is unfortunate that Bastian Schweinsteiger has been ruled out indefinitely with Van Gaal unable to provide an estimate for his return. However, on the brighter side, Wayne Rooney is back in light training along with Luke Shaw. Ashley Young and Ander Herrera are also on the way back.
