With Manchester City travelling to Chelsea, United have another opportunity to make up ground in the race for the top-four and give the fans more encouragement as the season draws to a close.
The reverse fixture saw United come out victorious thanks to a single goal by Adnan Januzaj. Villa’s form since then has been dire and their relegation could be confirmed before kick-off depending on the result between Norwich City and Sunderland in Saturday’s early kick-off.
United’s win over West Ham earlier in the week and another game against Crystal Palace on Wednesday means the boss has hinted at the need for some potential rotation in order to keep the squad fresh for the FA Cup Semi-Final next Saturday.
