Premier League title deciders at Old Trafford

Manchester United will welcome Leicester City to Old Trafford on Sunday for one of the most important matches in both sides’ respective seasons.

The Reds are still fighting for a place a Champions’ League place for next season, something which Leicester have already guaranteed in their astonishing campaign. That would be enough of an achievement in itself, but Claudio Ranieri’s men could go one step further and win the Premier League if they beat United on Sunday.

The Foxes only need three points from their three remaining fixtures to ensure second placed Tottenham cannot overtake them before the end of the season.

However, with Jamie Vardy having received an additional one-match ban for his conduct in Leicester’s draw with West Ham a few weeks ago, and with United in relatively decent form themselves, the Foxes will face a challenge to seal the title this weekend.

The possibility remains a real one though and, with that in mind, let’s take a look at the previous four occasions when the Premier League was decided at Old Trafford.
