Opposition dangermen: Hull City

Manchester United will be looking to maintain their perfect start to the season when travel to the KC Stadium to face Hull City on Saturday, although they will have to be wary of an upset against the Tigers.

Written off by everyone after a shambolic pre-season where they failed to sign any players and eventually saw manager Steve Bruce resign, caretaker manager and former United assistant manager Mike Phelan has masterminded a fine start to the season for Hull with just 14 senior players available to him.

The Tigers shocked reigning Premier League champions Leicester City on the opening day, beating the Foxes 2-1 at home before travelling away to Swansea City in week two and securing a two-goal victory with goals from Shaun Maloney and Abel Hernández.

With Hull having nothing to lose ahead of this encounter, José Mourinho’s side will have to wary of the Tigers’ collective spirit as they aim to prove everyone wrong and beat a United stacked with quality and star names.
