The big one, the Manchester derby is on its way – and the magnitude of it is the biggest in years. Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United host Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at Old Trafford on Saturday, with both sides boasting 100% records so far.
Having overcome Sunderland, Stoke and West Ham, the City boys are yet to be seriously tested in the Premier League this season – but it could be said that Jose’s United side are even worse off in terms of the difficulty of their build-up to the derby.
Mourinho’s men have triumphed over Bournemouth, Southampton and Hull – with the most recent of those three requiring a last-gasp winner from teenage sensation Marcus Rashford.
City have scored nine goals in their first three games – whilst United have only scored six.
