Fenerbahce forced to make emergency landing

Ahead of their Europa League clash on Thursday evening with Manchester United, Turkish outfit Fenerbahce have been forced into an emergency landing on their way to England… because of a bird.

The plane landed in Budapest, 1300 miles away from their expected destination, after it was revealed that a bird had flown into the very front of the plane, subsequently cracking the glass.

This then caused the pilot of the plane, with all of Fenerbahce’s squad on board, to see fit to land the plane wherever possible after the bird had caused some severe damage to the glass.

Fenerbahce are currently sitting at the very top of their Europa League group, with Manchester United trailing them with three won in their two games against Feyenoord and Zorya Luhansk.

Of course, Dick Advocaat’s men will make it to Manchester in good time for the match, but the bird certainly foiled their plans and halted their preparations…
