Manchester United will make at least one change for the EFL Cup derby against Manchester City on Wednesday, after Eric Bailly was ruled out through injury.
The Ivorian defender picked up a knee ligament injury after a collision with Eden Hazard during the Reds’ heavy defeat against Chelsea on Sunday and is expected to be sidelined for the next two months.
With José Mourinho already missing Phil Jones with a similar injury and Chris Smalling only recently recovering from a muscle problem, it seems that the United’s manager will have a tough decision to make in replacing the in-form summer signing from Villarreal.
