Manchester United boss José Mourinho has decided to take a 21-man squad for their Europa League tie against Fenerbahce on Thursday night, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan among the inclusions.
The Armenian international has not featured for United since tweaking his groin during the Manchester derby in early September, but he will travel to Istanbul as he bids to work his way back to full match fitness with some playing time.
Phil Jones and Anthony Martial also make the squad having recovered from recent injuries. Jones, who has not featured for the Reds this season, made his return to training at Carrington on Monday.

The main absentees from the squad are defender Chris Smalling, who has not featured since United’s 4-0 defeat to Chelsea last week, while Antonio Valencia also does not make the trip to Turkey having been confirmed to be sidelined for six weeks after fracturing his arm in United’s EFL Cup’s victory over Manchester City last week.
Bastian Schweinsteiger also misses out, having not been named in United’s Europa League squad for the group stages. The experienced German midfielder had been sidelined by José Mourinho and made to train with the reserves at the start of the season, but Monday saw him surprisingly pictured in training with the first-team.
Michael Carrick and Memphis Depay are the other two members of the first-team squad that have failed to make the trip to Istanbul.
