Manchester United will head down to Hull City for the second leg of their EFL Cup semi final on Thursday evening.
The Reds take a comfortable 2-0 lead into the tie, and will be hoping to return to winning ways after back-to-back draws against Liverpool and Stoke. United are firm favourites ahead of the fixture, but will be extremely wary of the dangers of conceding an early goal.
Hull City’s form has slightly improved since the arrival of new manager Marco Silva, winning two of his four matches in charge. However, they still languish in 19th place in the league and United should have more than enough in the tank to put the tie to bed.
Jose Mourinho has a fully fit squad to choose from, but will perhaps use this match as an opportunity to give minutes to fringe players, such as Jesse Lingard, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Marcus Rashford.
