Manchester United are back in a League Cup final for the first time since 2010, as they take on Southampton at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds have appeared in eight previous finals and have won four, including the previous two occasions they appeared in the final against Tottenham and Aston Villa, which provides a good omen for José Mourinho.
However, Southampton have enjoyed a fine campaign in reaching the final, beating Arsenal and Liverpool along the way, and Claude Puel’s men will be looking to replicate the feat of a previous Saints side in beating United on the way to a historic cup trophy, as they did back in 1976 with the FA Cup.
Last time United travelled to Wembley to play a League Cup final, they triumphed 2-1 against Aston Villa after falling behind early. Can you name the squad on that day?
