Manchester United boss José Mourinho has been nominated for the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for February.
This marks his third nomination for Manager of the Month this season, after being considered in August and December. On both occasions, the Portuguese lost out, with the awards going to Hull City’s Mike Phelan and Chelsea’s Antonio Conte.
Mourinho guided United to an unbeaten month in the league in February, drawing with Hull at the start of the month before reeling off consecutive victories against Leicester City and Watford.

On a whole, the Reds had a positive month, securing progress in the Europa League with a comfortable two-legged victory over French side Saint-Etienne, while also securing some silverware with a thrilling win against Southampton in the EFL Cup final at Wembley.
However, those successes will not be taking into account during the voting for this award, as it only covers results in the Premier League. Mourinho will go up against Conte, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and West Brom manager for the award.
Guardiola will be seen as the favourite to take the award, having guided City to three wins out of three in the league in February, while Pulis, Conte and Mourinho all have identical results in the league.
