Manchester United boss José Mourinho has confirmed that there are no new injury worries ahead of the Reds’ Europa League semi-final second leg clash against Celta Vigo.
24 players trained at Carrington on Wednesday morning in preparation for the match, with Axel Tuanzebe, Matty Willock, Demi Mitchell, Matthew Olosunde and Scott McTominay all involved after travelling down at the weekend to Arsenal and in the case of Tuanzebe and McTominay, making their Premier League debuts.

Speaking to MUTV in the build-up to Thursday’s pivotal clash, the United boss confirmed that the players that were currently out injured (Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Marcos Rojo, Ashley Young, Luke Shaw and Zlatan Ibrahimovic) would not return for the end of the season.
However, he stated that his side was ‘ready and fresh’ for the Spanish side’s visit and challenged his side to give everything to make the Europa League final in Stockholm in two weeks’ time.
He said:
Since the last injuries, we know that nobody will recover on time, even to play the last match of the season, so the ones out will be out for the season. But people are ready, fresh, with a big desire to play the game.
I am proud because we have important injuries that have reduced the possibility of rotation, of turnover, of resting players, so the players are the ones that are present all the time since we have this problem. So, yes, I’m proud, but one more match to be in a European final – we must give everything we have.

United, of course, are looking to see out a 1-0 lead at the Theatre of Dreams, having secured a vital away goal last week at Balaidos, with Marcus Rashford’s stunning free-kick giving the Reds the advantage ahead of the second leg.
