Manchester United have played six games and won five of them this season, with the sole draw coming in their last Premier League outing, against Stoke City last weekend. This weekend’s opponents, Everton, are not looking so good.
After four wins from their first four games (without conceding a single goal), The Toffees are now without a win in their last five games, and haven’t scored in their last three outings.
United will be encouraged by the opposition’s poor form and will certainly be looking to return to Premier League action with a bang and pick up three comfortable points to ensure they maintain their stay at the top of the table.
United will of course be without the injured Paul Pogba, who pulled up with a hamstring injury in the midweek win over FC Basel, but there are a few players ready to step up and deputise for the Frenchman, so there is no real reason to be worried — after all, football is a squad game and the depth is certainly there at United.
So who do we think will line up at the Theatre of Dreams on Sunday afternoon? Here’s our predicted starting eleven…
