Manchester United target Samuel Umtiti is having his contract talks at Barcelona fast-tracked amid interest from the Red Devils, according to the Daily Mail.
Umtiti currently has a £54 million release clause in his contract, something that Barcelona want to get rid of. The Catalan club want to insert a new one of over £218 million.
Barcelona want Umtiti on a new deal before the World Cup, with the defender set to go to Russia with France.

Umtiti has been heavily linked with a move to United, being a mainstay of the Barcelona defence since moving from Lyon for a fee of over £21 million in 2016.
Barcelona are desperate to keep Umtiti, and want to get rid of the release clause so that United cannot sign the defender on a cut-price deal of over £54 million.
The Catalan giants lead the table by over eight points with only five games to play in La Liga.
