Manchester United linked with move for Lyon midfielder
Manchester United are eyeing a move to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele this summer, according to Le10 Sport, as cited on Manchester Evening News.
United boss Jose Mourinho is keen on the player and sees him playing a big part in his long-term plans at Manchester United.
Lyon are hoping they will not be forced into selling the player after only signing him on a permanent deal themselves after a loan move from Amiens last season.
It’s thought that Lyon would be wanting a figure of near €50 million if they were to agree a fee with United for the 21-year-old midfielder.
Manchester City, Tottenham and Juventus have all been linked with a move for the player whose reputation throughout Europe has risen throughout the last 12 month.
This would mean that United would need to offload a midfielder in order to bring him in, casting doubts over the long-term future of Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera.
