Daley Blind would have to take a pay cut to return to his former club Ajax, according to a report in the Telegraph.
The Dutchman joined Manchester United prior to the 2014/15 season, and his four season stay in Salford has seen him win the FA Cup, League Cup, and Europa League.
A regular name on the team sheet in his first three campaigns at Old Trafford, Blind sustained an injury after Christmas that limited him to a total of 17 appearances in the United shirt last season.

Blind left Ajax following the 2014 World Cup where he was a part of the impressive Netherlands team that went out on penalties in the semi-final. Joining for a fee of £13.8 million, the now 28-year-old could head back to his home country this transfer window.
It is understood that Ajax couldn’t afford the fee United are demanding and Blind’s wages of £120,000 per week, and as such would require the versatile utility man to take a pay cut.
With United having activated a one year extension built into Blind’s contract, it seems manager Jose Mourinho may yet have plans for the 2014 Dutch Footballer of the Year.
