Manchester United were heavily linked with Maguire over the summer, but Leicester insisted that he would not be sold and stuck to their word.
Maguire wages have almost doubled, going from £45k-per-week to £80k-per-week with this improved deal.
The England international was reportedly valued at £75m in the summer, with Leicester likely to increase that valuation if United tried to sign Maguire in January.
The central defender started for England as they lost 2-1 to Spain in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday and is expected to start on Tuesday against Switzerland when England play at the King Power – Leicester’s ground.
