Everton in talks to sign Rojo from Manchester United
Everton are reportedly in talks with Manchester United over a deal to sign defender Marcos Rojo.
The Metro reports that the two Premier League sides have opened talks as they look to complete a January deal.
The player is once again being heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford after falling out of favour under Jose Mourinho.
The latter is unhappy with his defensive options but knows he needs to sell to make room in his squad before he can buy.
Rojo was linked with a move to Goodison Park during the summer, but he opted to remain with the Red Devils when no deal materialised.
Marco Silva has been keen to strengthen at the back since taking over at Everton and could be looking to the future with Kurt Zouma only on loan at the club.
With Phil Jagielka also reaching the latter stages of his career, Silva could be forced into the market sooner rather than later.
