- Man Utd new home kit released
- Goalkeeper kit also unveiled
- Fans react positively
Manchester United have officially unveiled their home kit for the 2026-27 season and it’s a beauty. The new home jersey features collar and cuffs, a throwback to the strips worn in the 1970’s.
The first time fans can see players wearing the new Adidas release is when the women’s team face Chelsea in the Barclays Women’s Super League on Saturday. The men’s first time donning the stylish kit comes on Sunday at home to Nottingham Forest.
For fans keen to get their hands on the kit they can do so by ordering via Kitbag. This includes strips for men, women and kids and features free customisation along with free UK delivery using the code: WHISTLE.
Man Utd Release 2026-27 Home Kit
Manchester United describe the new kit as a “tribute to the club’s iconic 1970s style and FA Cup triumph.” The media team’s reveal uses the tag line: “This is Manchester United – Always.”
It’s certainly a number that is going down well with fans and could be viewed as one of Adidas’ best releases since becoming the kit manufacturer in 2015. Not only has the red home shirt been released but so too has the goalkeeper’s jersey.
A black strip featuring a slick pattern on the lower section of the shirt and shorts will look good on Senne Lammens in the UEFA Champions League next season. It is reminiscent of the 2022-23 kit David de Gea wore.
Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko, Bruno Fernandes, Amad Diallo and Kobbie Mainoo have all been snapped in the new red kit. What is noticeable on the long-sleeved shirt is how much the three white stripes on the sleeves stand out.
‘Best Kit Ever’ – Man Utd Fans React
United supporters haven’t always been keen on Adidas’ creations since the club replaced Nike as its kit manufacturer. But the general consensus is that they have produced a Premier League title-winning worthy home jersey.
One fan responded: “Take all my money.”
Another added: “The best kit ever.”
One wrote: “Think I’ll enjoy it more when Bruno is holding the prem title up this time next year.”
Another replied: “Our English Premier League title-winning Jersey next season.”
One wrote: “The long sleeve is hard.”
Another added: “Clean, classic, and proper Red Devils vibes! That collar and the stripes hit different. Title-winning kit incoming? GGMU!”
Make sure to keep an eye on Kitbag for United’s other releases, including the away kit, which is expected to be a Blue strip. Along with the home outfield and goalkeeper kits, fans can also the club’s training kit.
