Manchester United could have another attacking option to monitor after fresh doubts emerged over Endrick’s future at Real Madrid.
Roma are exploring a move for the Brazilian, while increased competition at the Bernabeu means another departure cannot be ruled out.
Endrick returned to Madrid this summer following a productive loan spell at Lyon, where he scored eight goals and provided eight assists.
The 20-year-old wants to establish himself under Jose Mourinho and even cut short his post-World Cup holiday to begin pre-season early.
However, his route to regular football remains complicated.
Endrick transfer situation worth watching for Manchester United
Madrid have added Carlos Espí to an attack already led by Kylian Mbappe, while another arrival could further limit Endrick’s opportunities.
Roma are reportedly considering a loan with an option to buy and a potential Real Madrid buy-back clause, similar to the structure previously used with Nico Paz.
Endrick strengthened his position by scoring against Fiorentina in pre-season. Mourinho praised the forward’s effort after he played more than 70 minutes despite having completed only three training sessions.
There is currently no suggestion Manchester United have approached Madrid or Endrick.
Joshua Zirkzee continues to attract interest from Serie A, while United have explored adding another forward alongside Benjamin Šeško.
Endrick would offer a younger option capable of playing centrally or from the right. More importantly, his Madrid situation could become considerably clearer before the transfer window closes.
United should therefore keep an eye on developments rather than allow Roma a free run if Madrid eventually decide another move is best for his development.
