Harry Maguire Signs New Manchester United Contract
Harry Maguire has signed a new Manchester United contract, the club have confirmed, committing the centre-back to Old Trafford for the season ahead. The Red Devils announced the fresh terms on their official channels, ending lingering speculation over the defender’s future under Michael Carrick.
What Harry Maguire’s new deal means
The deal marks another chapter in a United career that has taken Maguire from club-record signing and captain to a trusted senior figure in the dressing room. The England international remained an important presence in the heart of the defence across the 2025-26 campaign, and tying him down again underlines his standing in Carrick’s plans for 2026-27. United have not disclosed the length of the new contract.
For a player whose future had been the subject of repeated summer chatter, the agreement is a clear statement of intent and a reward for the professionalism Maguire showed even when first-team starts were not guaranteed. Supporters can keep track of every squad and contract update through United’s latest transfer news.
With his future resolved, Maguire can turn his attention fully to the new season as United prepare for a return to Champions League football at Old Trafford.
