Joshua Zirkzee scored for Manchester United against Leeds United after brilliant work from Bryan Mbeumo created the opening goal at Croke Park.
Michael Carrick handed Zirkzee another opportunity from the start in Dublin, with the Dutchman operating alongside an attacking group containing Mbeumo, Amad and Patrick Dorgu.
It took just 16 minutes for the forward to make his mark.

Mbeumo produced the decisive moment in the build-up, beating his man before driving into the space ahead of him.
The Cameroon international carried the ball forward before finding Zirkzee, who kept his composure and swept the finish beyond new Leeds goalkeeper James Trafford.
Live coverage of the game described Mbeumo’s work in the build-up as the key to United’s opener.

Zirkzee had already tested Trafford before finding the net, meeting a Dalot delivery first time only for the goalkeeper to make a smart save.
The goal continues an encouraging pre-season for the United forward as Carrick assesses his attacking options before the Premier League campaign.
Mbeumo’s involvement is another positive sign too. The forward entered the Leeds game having scored three times across his previous two pre-season appearances and immediately created another decisive moment.
ReadManUtd highlighted Mbeumo’s impressive form against PSG, and his combination with Zirkzee offered Carrick another glimpse of what the pair can produce together.
