Manchester United begin their 2026/27 Premier League campaign away to Hull City on Saturday, with Michael Carrick looking to build on last season’s third-place finish.
United travel to the MKM Stadium on Saturday, 22 August, with kick-off scheduled for 12:30pm BST.
The Premier League has confirmed that the opening-weekend fixture will be shown live in the UK on TNT Sports.
Carrick’s side arrive with several selection questions still to resolve after an eventful pre-season, although there has been encouraging news surrounding two senior players.

The game begins at 12:30pm BST on Saturday, while talkSPORT will also provide live radio commentary.

Carrick has received a significant double injury boost before the trip.
Benjamin Sesko and Matthijs de Ligt have returned to training, increasing the possibility that both could be involved at the MKM Stadium after missing much of United’s pre-season preparations.
Mason Mount remains a concern after suffering a foot problem against Paris Saint-Germain. He has subsequently missed training, although Carrick previously described the decision to withdraw him against PSG as precautionary.
Marcus Rashford is another player pushing for involvement following his return to the squad this summer. His appearance against AC Milan was his first for United following loan spells with Aston Villa and Barcelona.
