Manchester United have been sending scouts to watch Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan this summer.
According to The Mirror, Jose Mourinho is a keen admirer of the midfielder and is planning on a swoop next summer.
Nainggolan signed a new contract with Roma this summer, having been touted with a move for United.
However, that has not deterred Mourinho, who is still keen on signing the Belgian star.

The combative midfielder has a goal and two assists in the Serie A this season, but is more well-known for his aggressive, box-to-box, style of play.
The report claims that Mourinho sees Nainggolan as a replacement for Michael Carrick.
The English midfielder is due to retire at the end of the season, which is when United will make their move for Nainggolan.
The Belgian international could be attracting interest from more top European clubs if he has another fine season for Roma this year.
