Phil Neville’s son Harvey wanted at United

The Neville bloodline has treated Manchester United well over the years.

Phil and Gary both emerged from the United academy as part of the famous ‘Class of 92’, combining for 954 appearances but a third Neville could be set for Old Trafford.

According to the Mirror, Phil’s 14-year-old son Harvey is wanted at Carrington after earning rave reviews in the Valencia academy.

After retiring from football in 2013, Phil made his first venture into coaching in 2015 when he became an assistant manager at Valencia and later worked under Gary who took the job on a temporary basis.

Having moved his family to Spain, Phil enrolled Harvey into the Valencia academy where he’s developed in the last two years.

Despite leaving his role at Valencia, the 40-year-old has allowed his son to remain in Los Che’s youth system.

Harvey has spells at both United and Manchester City early in his youth career before finding a home at Valencia, but United, along with Premier League rivals Tottenham, want to bring the impressive midfield back to English football to develop in their respective academies.
