Sevilla boss Vincenzo Montella has been heaping the praise on Manchester United star Alexis Sanchez.
The La Liga outfit will look to contain the Chilean international on Wednesday night as they welcome United in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash.
Sanchez has not yet hit top form in a United shirt following his January move from Arsenal, but remains one of the most potent attacking threats in world football. Montella is well aware of this and, as quoted by the MEN, joked that his men may need to “kill” Sanchez if they are to stifle him.
Maybe we could kill him or knock him down or something!

Montella arrived at Sevilla midway through the season following the club’s decision to sack Eduardo Berizzo. He had never previously managed outside of Italy and is well aware of Sanchez’s talents, having come up against him during the attacker’s time at Udinese.
I remember Sanchez really well from his time in Italy. He has improved a lot his style in his career and he’s a really good player in terms of the transitions and finding spaces, and he has a really good speed in attack.
Sanchez will be hoping to get the better of Sevilla when United line up against the Spaniards on Wednesday, with an away advantage potentially crucial.
