Manchester United are reportedly tracking Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola, and he is one of four attackers on their radar. The Reds look likely to sign a new left winger and this was hinted at by Michael Carrick.
According to Spanish outlet SPORT, United are eyeing Barcola amid a stellar spell at the Parc des Princes. The Frenchman is one of Europe’s most highly-rated attacking talents, and a potential deal wouldn’t be cheap.
Barcola would be a blockbuster signing for United, given his reputation in European football. He was a key member of Luis Enrique’s side that won the UEFA Champions League last season.
Man United set sights on Barcola

The club are preparing for life without Marcus Rashford, who is expected to join Barcelona permanently. The English forward has spent the season on loan at Camp Nou and is reportedly eager for the La Liga giants to trigger a £26m buy option.
The 23-year-old is extremely pacey and also has an eye for goal. He is the highest-profile name on the Rashford replacement shortlist.
Barcola, dubbed ‘superb’ by Enrique, will have two years left on his contract with PSG this summer, which could mean the Ligue 1 giants need to sort out his future. They aren’t short of options out wide as they also possess Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue.
Who else are United eyeing?

The most likely option for United is Yan Diomande, given Ben Jacobs recently reported the club were interested. The RB Leipzig winger has impressed this season, and at only 19, could be a signing for the present and the future.
SPORT also names Diomande among the four-man wishlist, as well as Como’s Jesus Rodriguez, Strasbourg’s Martial Godo and Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye.
Rodriguez is another youngster catching the eye, and the Spanish winger could be on the move this summer. The 20-year-old is versatile and has been flourishing under Cesc Fabregas in Serie A this season.
| Player: | Barcola | Diomande | Rodriguez | Godo | Ndiaye |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Appearances all comps: | 36 | 27 | 28 | 29 | 25 |
| Goals: | 10 | 11 | 3 | 12 | 5 |
| Assists: | 6 | 7 | 8 | 5 | 3 |
| Contract expires: | 30/06/2028 | 30/06/2030 | 30/06/2030 | 30/06/2030 | 30/06/2029 |
United also have an eye on Godo, who has been wowing Strasbourg fans and has a good goalscoring record. The 22-year-old was born in England but is representing the Ivory Coast’s U21s at international level.
Reds fans already know all about Ndiaye, who is arguably the most technically gifted player in David Moyes’ squad. A move for the Everton man could achieve the same results as the acquisitions of Premier League-proven Bryan Mbeumo and Cunha.
