The defensive midfielder was a vital cog in the title-winning side at Stamford Bridge last season, but now joins up with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford as United look to win the Premier League for themselves in 2017-18.
The Serbia international won the league with Mourinho as manager at Chelsea back in 2014-15 and has also won the Portuguese top flight with Benfica in 2013-14.
He won last season’s FA Cup with Chelsea, too, scoring an absolute thunderbolt in the final at Wembley.

The 28-year-old is United’s third signing of the summer, after the acquisitions of Victor Lindelof from Benfica and Romelu Lukaku from Everton.
Mourinho said of his latest signing:
“I would like to thank him for his desire to join us because without that, it would be impossible to have him here. I am sure our players and supporters will love him. A big welcome to our new number 31.”
And the big man himself had a few words after completing the move:
“I am delighted to have joined Manchester United. To work with Jose Mourinho once again was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down.
“I have enjoyed my time at Chelsea and would like to thank the club and the fans for their support. I cannot wait to meet my new team-mates and to start training with them.
“This is a very exciting time for the club and I am looking forward to playing my part in creating more history for this great club.”
Matic could make his debut in the UEFA Super Cup against Real Madrid on August 8.
