Manchester United are prepared to rival Tottenham for Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon if they decide to sell up this summer, according to Sky Sports News.
The 17-year-old is one of the hottest young prospects in English football and has already made 31 senior appearances at Craven Cottage, along with representing the Three Lions at under-19 level.
Roehampton-born Sessegnon, who was part of the England squad who won the UEFA Under-19 Championship this summer, can play anywhere down the left-hand side and signed his professional contract with Fulham at the end of the previous season.

Tottenham have had a significant interest in bringing Sessegnon to North London this summer, with an opening bid reportedly being rejected by Fulham, who want to keep their prized possession and are only likely to sell up if a bid in the region of £25 million is received by the end of the transfer window.
However, if Fulham’s stance changes, United are ready to enter the race for the 17-year-old, with José Mourinho a firm admirer and the Reds’ left-back situation uncertain with Luke Shaw yet to cement his place in the side after injury problems.
It is also understood that United would be willing to let Sessegnon stay and continue his development at Craven Cottage by loaning him back to Fulham for the season if a deal is completed.
