The Manchester United player ratings from the 5-0 win over Rosenborg include four scores of 8/10. Shea Lacey, Joshua Zirkzee, Harry Maguire and Jaydan Kamason produced the strongest performances as Michael Carrick’s side secured their first victory of pre-season.
Lacey opened the scoring before Zirkzee doubled United’s lead with an excellent individual finish. Jacob Devaney, Harry Amass and Ethan Williams added the remaining goals at the Lerkendal Stadion. Sky Sports’ match centre confirms the five scorers and United’s second-half changes.

Radek Vitek – 7
Vitek made his first start of pre-season after appearing from the bench against Wrexham. Rosenborg gave him little work to do before he was replaced late in the second half.
Leny Yoro – 7
Yoro looked increasingly comfortable at right-back and played several progressive passes. He also struck the crossbar with a header.
Harry Maguire – 8
Maguire captained the side and offered calm leadership alongside United’s younger defenders. His passing from the back included an excellent line-breaking ball to start an attack.
Ayden Heaven – 6
Heaven dealt with Rosenborg’s aerial threat and continued to develop his understanding with Maguire. It was a steady performance without many difficult defensive moments.
Luke Shaw – 6
Rosenborg created little down Shaw’s side during the first half. He remained secure defensively but could have contributed more when United moved forward.
Andrey Santos – 7
Santos showed his vision with a clever pass into Patrick Dorgu inside the penalty area. He also gave United control in midfield and looked comfortable in possession.
Mason Mount – 7
Mount appeared sharper after completing his first pre-season appearance against Wrexham. His passing was crisp, while his movement and pressing helped United control central areas.
Joshua Zirkzee – 8
Zirkzee regularly dropped away from the forward line to link with midfield. He assisted Lacey’s opener before deceiving two defenders and the goalkeeper for a memorable individual goal.
Shea Lacey – 8
Lacey took his opportunity after being selected as the No.10. He pressed with intensity and opened the scoring with a composed curling finish.
Bryan Mbeumo – 5
Mbeumo beat two players during the opening stages but failed to make the most of a promising chance. Several loose touches showed he is still working towards full sharpness.
Patrick Dorgu – 5
Dorgu found space on the left but struggled with his final delivery. His early cross failed to beat the first defender, and he remains a work in progress in the advanced role.

Harry Amass – 7
Amass replaced Shaw at half-time and added greater attacking intent from left-back. He arrived at the far post to score United’s fourth goal.
Jaydan Kamason – 8
Kamason created two goals with excellent deliveries from the right. His low cross found Amass before another precise ball allowed Williams to complete the scoring.
Tyler Fletcher – 6
Fletcher produced a composed midfield display after replacing Lacey. He kept possession moving without forcing his passes.
Dan Armer – 6
Armer looked calm after entering the defence during the second half. Rosenborg rarely placed him under sustained pressure.
Jacob Devaney – 7
Devaney scored moments after coming on by reacting quickly following a corner. His movement into the scoring position was sharp.
Dan Gore – 6
Gore used the ball neatly and helped United retain control during the closing stages. He produced several useful passes through midfield.
Ethan Williams – 7
Williams made a positive impact from the bench and converted Kamason’s cross for the fifth goal. His run into the penalty area was well timed.

Obi replaced Zirkzee through the middle but struggled to become heavily involved. United’s best late attacks developed through the wide areas.
