Garnacho deal could benefit United

The deal includes a conditional £43 million obligation to buy, while United retained a profit sell-on clause when Garnacho moved to Chelsea in 2025. The clause would give United a direct financial benefit if Villa’s obligation is triggered.

United’s total debt reaches £1.15bn

Manchester United borrowed a net £90m after June 30, according to a New York Stock Exchange filing. Our full financial report details total debt of £1.15bn, consisting of £578m in historic debt, a £200m revolving credit facility and £375m in outstanding transfer fees.

United drew down £120m across July and August before repaying £30m in September. The club’s outstanding transfer-fee balances are due within the next five years.

Mbeumo scores for Cameroon

Noah Ajayi signs professional deal

Ajayi turns 18 in November and could now move closer to the senior squad or potentially go out on loan to gain regular first-team experience.

Baleba nearing United debut

Barcelona distance themselves from JJ Gabriel

Gabriel has told United he wants to leave, while his first-team pathway has been paused. He had been training with Carrick’s senior squad during pre-season and had been expected to make his debut against Brighton.

Dorgu wants a settled position

Dorgu has made six appearances this season, split between left-back and the left side of attack. He also acknowledged the competition from Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford and Matheus Cunha.

Garner has no regrets over United exit

Garner, who joined United’s academy in 2009, said he did not want his career to stall on the bench. He has since established himself at Everton and earned another England call-up.
