Zlatan Ibrahimovic has openly discussed his future as speculation continues to link the Swedish star with a move to the Premier League with Manchester United as his PSG contract nears its end.
Speaking to Mail Online after helping to secure his nation’s place at next year’s European Championships by scoring twice in their 4-3 aggregate win over Denmark, Ibrahimovic admitted that it may be too late to make an impact in the Premier League as the enigmatic striker turned 34 at the start of October.
I think it is too late to come to England. I am very happy in PSG, I have my last six months and let us see what happens afterwards.

I am enjoying it, I enjoy every day on the field. While I am playing at the top level I just want to join it and do my thing. I do not know where I will finish my career let us wait and see.
Speculation surrounding the future of Ibrahimovic has been intense as he looks set to leave the French capital next summer and according to the Telegraph, a number of clubs are preparing offers for the prolific striker – including lucrative offers from the MLS, where Ibrahimovic is believed to be interested in winding down his career at.
However, it is believed that Manchester United’s Louis Van Gaal may be undeterred by the news and may still make a move for Ibrahimovic as he looks to acquire a striker with proven quality to help with the lack of goals from the current frontline.

And it was reported that had Sweden failed to qualify for next year’s tournament, he was set to consider international retirement after already accumulating 111 caps whilst managing to score 62 goals, making him his nation’s all-time leading goalscorer. But after last night’s victory, he had this to say:
They [Denmark] said they were going to send me to retirement. I sent their whole nation into retirement.
