Manchester United and Arsenal are set to battle for Ajax youngster Abdelhak Nouri who has already been named a star in Dutch football, according to reports.
Nouri, 18, is already seen as one of the highest valued youngsters in Dutch football and is viewed as one of the most promising talents in Europe.
The attacking midfielder is a tricky player who dances past players with his flair and speed.
Louis van Gaal has taken an interest in the youngster as the Manchester United boss has close links with Ajax as the 64-year-old managed the Dutch club for six years between 1991-1997.
Both English clubs will face some tough opposition to acquire the youngster as French sides Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille are reportedly showing interest in the 18-year-old.
In a bid to keep the forward in the ranks of Ajax, manager Frank de Boer may promote him to the first team to convince him to commit future at the club.
