Luka Modric, Isco Alarcon, Casemiro and Toni Kroos all have a couple of things in common; they, between themselves, are trusted to dictate the play in the middle of the park for Real Madrid.
Now, one of them is looking for an escape route from the Santiago Bernabeu, having been left disappointed this season at both his own form and the struggle for game time. That man is World Cup-winning midfielder, Toni Kroos.
The German, who played alongside United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger in Die Mannschaft‘s success in Brazil in 2014, is unhappy playing under Rafa Benitez at Real Madrid, according to Ed Malyon of The Mirror.

Malyon cites Frederic Hermel of Spanish television show, El Chiringuito – who claims that Kroos’ agent has been instructed to find a way to give the midfielder a change of direction in his career.
That change of direction could come in the shape of Old Trafford. The midfielder has been linked to United many times before, with David Moyes supposedly having a deal for him ready to go before Louis van Gaal took over as manager in 2014.
The final straw for Kroos, whose abilities are well-known, appears to have been his exclusion from Los Blancos Christmas dinner – he was the only member of the squad not to attend.
Having been bought by the Spanish club for a fee of around £18,000,000 and £23,000,000, he will almost certainly be sold for a similar price. Whilst his arrival from Bayern Munich was widely considered a bargain, Florentino Perez will not want to lose money on a man who is, at just 25-years-old, a very talented player with plenty of potential left.
