The father of Manchester United target Saul Niguez has dismissed speculation that his son will leave Atletico Madrid and claimed his son is happy in the Spanish capital.
Speculation regarding a move to Manchester began to surface when rumours stated that the 21-year-old’s release clause was set at £20million, as claimed by Guillem Balague:

However, the midfielder’s father has now stepped in to respond to speculation and told Deportes Cope, as reported by ESPN FC, that his son is not looking to leave Diego Simeone’s side:
I just heard about this through the newspapers and the TV, we knew nothing. He has always said he wants to succeed at Atletico Madrid. Saul’s release clause is €45m. The kid is happy at the club, they are counting on him, the team is doing well, top of La Liga. A lot of things would have to happen for him to leave.
With the confirmation that his release clause is higher than initially thought, the prospects of a move now seem even more unlikely as Saul is now reportedly happy with his playing time after spending a lot more time on the bench last season, as declared by his father:
The coach is counting on him, he has his confidence. Logically things change radically, because a player aged 21 who is not playing, he needs to look at other things. If he is not playing, it is logical for him not to be happy. But at the moment everything has changed, he is very happy with what is happening with the team, he is playing, and the team is doing well.
