Manchester United are in need of more options out wide, with Anthony Martial and Juan Mata both having played on the wings numerous times this season – despite their natural and favoured positions being elsewhere.
Bruce Archer of the Daily Express claims that the Old Trafford club have identified a man who could take up one of those wide positions – West Ham United’s Michail Antonio.
After fourteen goals and twelve assists playing for Nottingham Forest in the Championship last season, the Hammers brought Antonio to the Boleyn Ground for a fee of £7 million in last summer’s transfer window.

The 25-year-old Englishman has made seventeen Premier League appearances under Slaven Bilic this season – recording six goals and two assists so far. Five of these goals have come in his last eight games and he is almost certain to line up against United in the FA Cup quarter final at Old Trafford at the weekend.
The Express article claims that United are looking to offload Ecuadorian winger Antonio Valencia in the next transfer window, and would see West Ham’s Antonio as his replacement.
