Wolfsburg centre-back Naldo has revealed that recent reports linking with a move to Manchester United have left him feeling flattered, per the Express.
The Brazilian defender was in action for the Bundesliga outfit in Tuesday’s Champions’ League quarter-final second leg against Real Madrid, but could not prevent his side from going down to a 3-0 defeat to the Spanish giants.
Wolfsburg beat United 3-2 in their last Champions’ League group game back in December, a result that denied the Reds a place in the knockout stage of the competition and saw the German outfit progress as group winners.

Naldo scored twice in that match, but it’s clear that he still holds any interest from United in high regard:
Manchester United is a great club and I’m honoured by their interest.
Despite those comments, the Brazilian, talking before the recent defeat to Real Madrid, refrained from talking up a potential transfer to Old Trafford:
However I’m fine and I feel at ease here. So now I think only to the end of the season and the next game against Real Madrid.
Naldo is an experienced defender and would add some much-needed leadership qualities and European experience to the Reds’ current backline.
At the age of 33 though, United would probably be better off pursuing other targets, with the Brazilian likely to be reaching the end of his career in the coming years.
